Our Administration

Welcome to Silicon Valley International School. (SVIS). This is an English- medium, ultra-modern, co-educational school with multi-cultural enrolment and a learner population of 1,800, 160 talented, qualified, conscientious and academically oriented teachers and 50 non-teaching staff who work hand in hand towards providing holistic education for the learners.

We provide a happy, secure and safe environment that enables learners to actively participate in their own learning. Our multi-sensory approach to child development and training ensures a flexible Individual Education Plan (I.E.P) for each child under our care. This combined with our teacher-pupil ratio enables us to cater for each child’s learning needs, interests and aspirations, thus, allowing each child to develop at his or her own pace.

Admissions are open for all who wish to be enrolled in the school from Crèche to JHS 2, after passing the school’s entrance examination.

The vision of Silicon Valley International School is to become a preferred-institution nationwide through the creation of the state of the art teaching and learning environment aimed at nurturing the creative and innovative prowess of pupils to become critical thinkers in actualizing their aspirations and the nation’s at large.

    The Genesis

    Silicon Valley international school came into inception with Kwame Adjei Mensah as the founder

  • September, 2002

    Accreditation

    SVIS received accreditation from the Ghana Education Service to operate as a fully-fledged institution

    September, 2002

  • September 2002

    Pioneer learners enrolled

    The educational journey rolled out with seven pioneering pupils and three educators. Priscilla Dwomoh was the first pupil to be enrolled.

  • April 2015

    Pioneers completed Junior High School

    Three out of the seven pioneers who began from Crèche and completed Junior High School in 2015 were: Nana Ama Adjei; daughter of the founding father, Czarena Adjei Wealth and Osei Anane Abena.
